This came out a while ago, but since I was busy, I only had the chance to catch this now. Umm, I'll Be, like so many of other YUI's songs are mainly aimed to encourage people during their down times.


The song is the usual basic pop/rock style, nothing really special. she actually performed the live orchestral version in some school hall last time, and I liked that version more than this studio one. I think the orchestra put more depth and just sounds better.


Since it's about troubled people, the video focuses on students/ althelets/working adults feeling down.



Then after each of them listens to the song, they became "genki". Umm...whoever said it's gonna be a complicated video anyway?

But i liked the glass floor they used as the stage. The mirror reflections does look kinda cool.


But overall, it's a mediocre video. It did match its purpose though, even without the lyrics, I think people can make out the idea of the song.

She has a new single atm called Again but I haven't seen the video yet. Floating somewhere in Youtube, I just don't watch much YT nowadays, so...^^
