Originally, we have "Renai Shashin" which was a 2003 film based on Kaoru Ogawa's original screenplay. Then, in 2006, we have this movie, "Tada,Kimi Wo Aishiteru" which is based on Ichikawa's novelization of "Renai Shashin".
Basically, they're the same story with same characters, at least the MAIN storyline is similar. But i guess, with the novelization it differs in some areas. As we can see from this movie later on.
Before continuing on my thoughts of this movie, I have watched Renai Shashin before, starring Ryoko Hirosue and Ryuhei Matsuda. And i liked it.
So when i watched this one,i was thinking to myself already, why would i want to watch a movie that has the same storyline, based on the same thing? Won't that be repetitive?
But since it has Tamaki Hiroshi and Miyazaki Aoi in it, i thought why not give it a try? Well, it's a more sweet touch on the story really this one. It has innocent looking Makoto with weirdo Shizuru. I can't help but keep comparing the previous movie with this one. *is it just me or it seems like Tamaki seemed to be paired up with weirdos all the time* hint:Nodame.
Anyway, I actually browsed through some parts which i think is quite lagging and unnecessary. This is the thing with most Japanese movies i've watched so far, they seem to like dragging some scenes which could've been cut short.
Well, this movie is definitely different from the previous one. It's like i said, a more innocent POV than Renai Shashin which shows you the realistic lifestyle in New York where you see gangsters around and such. And i can't help but seem to always see a little of Chiaki senpai in Tamaki Hiroshi in here. Although he acted as shy and innocent as possible, i still have the feeling that he's just put into normal student T-shirts and tried to act like one, but somehow at some points, failed to do so. Maybe coz he looked too MATURE to be a student anymore.
As to the story, I like the fact that they changed the storyline, avoiding the repetition with Renai Shashin. Which is a wise move but somehow by doing so, it lacked the feel to it. Somehow i prefer Renai Shashin over this. I guess by now, you'd have known my preference. xD
By having Shizuru died out of yet another unknown rare disease is a little bit too unbelievable at this point for me. Why does Japanese directors or screenwriters like to have their characters have some sort or incurable disease anyway? To gain sympathy? In this case, it didn't help much i'm sorry to say. It's too common.
That said, I'd recommend Renai Shashin over this really. Ryuhei Matsuda somehow seemed a better actor in this over Tamaki Hiroshi. And of coz, Ryoko Hirosue wins over Miyazaki Aoi in this.
Waratte Iitomo Autumn [Nodame Cantabile]
This was in autumn while back where several guests from different series were invited to be guests and compete in games like archery.
Eita(then) still with the bleached hair of his from the character Mine...was the first to do the archery.
He's SHY in shows like these...i wonder if in real life, he's that shy too xD

poor Eita just got himself a mere 50...
LOOK at his disappointed face...T.T
oh i see Koide Keisuke and Rosa Kato (behind)...
Next, we have Juri...the hosts asked her what's her fav food..or something..and she said "sushi"
so this old geezer started doing those weird annoying noises with the word sushi in them...
and she got bullseye....
yeah...leaping in excitement...
and she thanked that old geezer for the sushi thing...
getting cuddly with the only female in the group, Asami...
which later on, in Last Friends, she gets cuddly with Masami...
Last, we have the main star----> CHIAKI SENPAI *Tamaki Hiroshi*
he got the Golden Arrow, meaning whatever points he got will be doubled.
AIMING...
AND ANOTHER BULLSEYE for the team!!!
Look at poor Eita in the background....he's so ashamed for getting just 50..he even lost to Juri haha xDi bet that's why he didn't join in the Last Friends segment...(Ryo, Asami and Juri did)
All smiles for Tamaki!
This is pretty long ago, but anyway...it has tamaki and juri in it...dakara...
Oh, and Takuya Kimura also xD
we get to know quite a lot of things revealed in this show especially about juri-chan's birthday present by both Takuya and Koyuki when they were in Engine together. they actually gave her undergarments which came in sets, one set by takuya and another by Koyuki. I don't know but i just find that funny, giving people underwears for presents. It's odd, haha..especially when Juri-chan mentioned that during the filming, Koyuki suddenly asked her what her size is. T.T
Then, Takuya explained how he and Koyuki went to this shop that specifically sells undergarments for women and discuss which to get for her. And the host from Utaban, asked him whether he feels shy or uncomfortable going into shops like these...and this is where i find new respect for Takuya Kimura/ Kimutaku. He's not my fav actor but i find this bit of info on him rather AMUSING. He thinks it's fine to just walk into shops like these, even if he's alone, and he always go there to get presents during Valentine's Day etc...And he'd ask the people there for opinions...and the Utaban host asked Tamaki whether he's the same...
Here we know that Tamaki isn't THAT comfortable doing that like kimutaku haha xD
Then they were trying out the food...and here we find out Tamaki's fav food and stuffs he hates. Apparently, he dislikes sour plums...and he dislikes cistron (i don't know what that is though) pardon me for my lack of knowledge of food..since i'm not a pro in them) Oh and he works part-time for 5 years even after he became an actor. Also, he prefers meat more than fish. (ooh...same with me!) haha...
Anyway, from these alone, it seems hard for both Tamaki and Juri to be an ideal couple--->which a lot of fans wanted to after watching them in Nodame. But seriously, Nodame was all just an acting. stuffs don't happen like they do in real life. So, since they have different tastes in stuffs, they aren't that compatible i suppose and I'm not saying this based on THAT fact alone. Just my two cents. xD And their age difference, Tamaki is like 27 and juri is like 21?
Although age diff is not a matter...i'm just saying it for fun. haha xD
But really, it'd be kinda sweet IF they are together in real life, right???? haha xD now that Tamaki broke up with his girlfriend, it's harmless to think of the possibility, right????
And at the end of the show, they were like promoting Nodame's last episode. And the host teased them ---> Well, we never know what will happen EVEN AFTER the show, right?
haha...such a straightforward tease!
And then, Kimutaku keeps on pressing " Tamaki-san is a REALLY GOOD PERSON..."
I bet Tamaki blushes towards the end lol...
This show is funny, and very informative. Apparently Kimutaku has his own areas where i find very amusing...not as much as an actor though on-screen. I'm just not into his dramas and i dont know why.
went to Kenyalang just now and got myself Nodame Cantabile [series+SP] DVD haha xD Well, both cost me like RM 57 but it's worth it when it comes to Nodame.
It's not surprising/shocking why this series won quite a lot of awards back in 2007 (i think). Like take for example------> Best Drama, Best Actor (Hiroshi Tamaki), Best Actress (Ueno Juri), Best Soundtrack *sth like that* and more....
yeah, well i went to this shop at first and asked the people whether they have it or not, and this person, she just simply shook her head, i bet she has like no idea what the *fcuk* i'm talking about. And that pisses me more than anything coz i despise people who work for a record shop and yet know nothing about the items they're supposedly selling. That is such a disgrace. Harsh i know but it's the truth. It really shows how unprofessional you are.
Now, this other shop apparently is different. You know the one at the door. Yeah, that one. I was actually leaving through the door but i stopped when something caught my eyes. So i browsed through and saw the SP. so i grabbed it. Then, look thru again.....saw Iryu 1 and 2, Proposal [series+SP], Hotelier, and like lots others...but my eyes missed out on Nodame series.
So i asked the person in charge, and she was like " oh.." she then walked over and like KNEW EXACTLY WHERE it was placed. Now, talk about professionalism. I salute her. xD
I grabbed Iryu 2 at first, but since i got myself Nodame [series+SP] ady, i chucked Iryu 2 away. I'd have bought it IF i couldn't find Nodame, that was my initial plan.
So yeah, nodame...xD
Well, i think Kuching is progressing coz they seem to like sell lots of Japanese/Korean stuffs nowadays. Which is good. Let's not be behind KL like forever. Which i think we will anyway but there's still hope. saw Ayu's latest single Mirrorcle World on sale too. xD
Tamaki Hiroshi pics
