Attention Please Special took off from where it ends in the original series and actually we can see that Aya Ueto's hair has grown a bit. I think she's also filming Hokaben at around the same time, thus the hairstyle is different.

I watched this through crunchyroll, thus i don't have any screencaps to show here but here are some magazine scans.

Back to the story, we have Youko and her fellow mates are undergoing another training for international flights. Therefore they're separated as they go to different countries. Youko has Hawaii and she's as usual super excited about the trip.


Before going, she has a small row with Ryo's character after he failed the engineer exam.
During her stay at Hawaii, she met Lisa a US citizen with Japanese descent, who teaches Hula dance. Youko as usual with her high spirited confidence decided to learn the dance but as expected met a bit of dead end in the process. Not gonna elaborate any longer or it will spoil the whole for those who havent watched it. But there's a second part coming out very soon and it's shot in Australia.

In this part, I don't really find anything much that interesting actually. It's just mainly Youko's own revelation of her own mistakes and how she solves them. but in Part 2 we might finally see how her relationship with Ryo proceed.
