The dream of most gurllzz....is to get married. And this movie is all about just that. Marriage/Wedding. Two best friends who were desperate to have a dream June wedding at the Plaza. One has been saving for it since 16, the other led a much better life as a lawyer but still yearned very much for THE DAY to come.

Oh just look at those two trying to grab that bouquet of flower >.< And when their respective boyfriends proposed, they went crazy!!!

One had her ring put in some fortune cookies (surprise element, I suppose but I wonder if I really wanted mine in some cookie, though)

The other is desperate enough to rush/jog all the way to his office and actually popped the question before he did! LOL...

and so they went to Sinclair, the famous wedding planner in Manhattan and hoped for a date in June at The Plaza. Things were fine when they each got their dates, until the secretary made a mistake and gave one of their dates to another desperate to-be bride. and so they were left with one date, one venue and TWO BRIDES>

And they were waiting for "the other one" to pop the ultimate statement to change their venue/date. And for the first time in 20 years, they didn't talk to each other for a week.

See, weddings can join people, and also break people apart. #_#

and so the competition begins!!! and we see how they tried to crash each other's wedding, trying to lure one to have an eating binge so she can't fit into her Vera Wang dress, another tried to spread rumors that the other one is pregnant, thus, desperate for the wedding. ^^

Memorable quotes:

' You don't alter Vera Wang to fit you, you alter yourself to fit Vera. What do boys learn in school?'- Liv

'The final week of the wedding to do or die. I expect my brides to be flawless, perfect hair, skin, everything.' - Marianne Sinclair

And accidents can happen, or not...
