Finally i get to watch ep8 with softsubs from d-addicts. Thanks again to suketeru and also the subbing teams like kioku as well for the hardsubs version before this. Before i got myself ep 8 RAW, i have read some spoilers but i refrain myself from going to far coz with Last Friends, i figured out that after reading the spoilers, you get yourself very hyped about it then when you're watching it, you go..." oh...so it's like that..." and you know, it just ain't that exciting anymore.

It happened to me in the previous eps, so this time, i REFRAIN myself from reading too much spoilers, even after i got the RAW version, i didn't watch it until i got the softsubs and after watching it at ONE GO...like this, i'm somehow proud and glad that i succeed in not watching the thing without subs before. and here's why...omg, this ep is really good, and it's no surprise why the ratings increase to 18.8% for this episode. Hopefully as it's nearing the end, it will exceed the 20% rating. *prays for it* But anyway, ratings don't really mean anything. This series is a MUST WATCH even if the ratings does not do it justice.

SPOILERS ahead. Don't say i didn't warn any of you. *not that i think anyone would be reading my blog anyway haha *

Ruka is apparently moving out of sharehouse, so we see her surveying places to stay.

Oh by the way, i'm HAPPY for Eri coz this episode shows quite a lot of her. I'm glad that she finally had more screentime than before. And she did play a bigger role this time around.
Here, she saw Michiru making *obentous* well, basically lunchboxes for Takeru and herself. Both of them work together now that she quit the salon work.

So Eri was wondering if the two of them are kinda together...and wondering whether Takeru is really a GAY or not, coz in previous episode, she did say something like " so...you are THAT after all..." and Takeru nodded. And so she had the impression that he is gay all along. And so, what's with him being with Michiru? We'll later see her asking Takeru again about the matter.

Although this had nothing to to with anything, it looks friggin nice so i just had to make a shot of it. This reminds me of Teppan Shoujo Akane, the one starring Horikita Maki. That drama could've been better but even HoriMaki couldn't really save it. Maybe i'll make a review of it when i get LF stuffs out of my head soon haha xD

as usual, they're having dinner together.
I always like it whenever they gather like this. it looks so cosy.

And EVIL SOUSUKE uses this little innocent boy he saved from being crushed by the train to pass a letter to Michiru. Basically begging her to return to him *again* T.T
Nice try, really...Sousuke but haven't you heard that FRIENDSHIP sometimes are STRONGER than love itself...ok i just made that one up. haha xDLike i said earlier, Eri had a bigger role this time around and so here she is, returning the letter to Sousuke, who by now we know isn't DEAD, but suffered multiple injuries. I find it funny having him wrapped in white bandages...in various spots. They looked too fake for me to swallow. I know it's supposed to be acting, but they just don't look real to me. I mean, how is it that he survived the crash from the train, i mean, he literally escaped the incoming train, right...and he moved out of the way right on time with the kid...and so, he couldn't have suffered THAT MUCH injuries. *This particular scene just doesn't convince me much*

here we see Ruka consulting to the uh doctor again about her gender identity disorder thing. Told the doctor that she's moving out of sharehouse...and then the doctor was like " why the rush? We haven't finished your diagnosis..." So over here, i'm thinking that MAYBE AFTERALL, Ruka isn't really having the disorder, maybe she's just thinking too much about it. Coz the doctor keeps on pressing that there are many types of disorder and she's not necessarily having THAT type.

Oh this particular scene where she just suddenly looked up to the doctor and tearing up, saying " I'm suffering.." really made me feel for her. It just came so suddenly like that. This is sad.
Eri stumbled upon Ruka's laptop, flashing all those " sex change operation" stuffs, when she and Ogurin planned to book for some Hot Spring getaway. So basically, Eri had some insight of Ruka's secret.

Eri consulted to Takeru about the matter, and discussed it. And here they talk about stuffs...which i'm a bit too lazy to elaborate. xD

Haha...look at Ogurin...oh, Ruka found out that someone went into her room and asked Ogurin about it. Knowing nothing, he told her that Eri used her laptop.

Then, Takeru found out that Ruka is moving out.

Takeru...having no appetite for Michiru's home-made obentou. I mean, of coz he's worried about Ruka's moving out matter. duh...his face is so depressing.

Then, Eri and Ruka burnt all of Sousuke's letters.

And then Michiru came back to ask Ruka about her sudden plan of moving out. Which Ruka brushes off saying " you'll be fine...with Takeru and Eri around"
And i like that fact that she said " I can't take care of you forever" such a strong sense of sentence.

and so she's packing...Takeru went to ask the Senpai about Ruka moving out.
and he stumbled upon the papers Sousuke posted earlier on.

Look at how * distant* both of them are...and to think that they're like best friends? This change is just kinda unbearable in a way.

And look at Takeru running!!!!!!!!!!!!! He really looked so so so MASCULINE and DETERMINED in this scene...i tell you, he's FRIGGIN AMAZING HERE> *and the background music playing is just so touching!!!!*

as we see dear TAKERU RUNNING....i mean, look at him!!!!
i might look obsessed with a running guy, but seriously, he's friggin RUNNING to tell Ruka...stuffs.

just look at that determined face of his!!!
RUN RUN RUN TAKERU!!!!!!!!!

i don't know why but from this scene, he doesn't look THAT SISSY anymore. he really looked like a real guy. considering how uh...weak his character is in this series.but i suppose stuffs can change him.
and here, we have two best friends...SHAKING HANDS? for a farewell?! i mean, they're best friends, for goodness sake and only a SHAKE HAND?! they should at least HUG! HUG!

it's kinda sad to have two good friends acting so distant like that.
aih...

oh Takeru finally caught up before Ruka leaves...GO GO TAKERU!!!!!
Let's just enjoy these captions...you know, it's true when they say...actions sometimes MEANS more than words...or uh...pictures tell a thousand things...along that line.

Pictures are such wonderful things...T.T

I felt like crying during this scene really, it's really really STRONG!Eita and Juri are SUPERB together for this particular scene, i'm telling you, these two STEAL the show, the entire show. *i'm not trying to sound harsh here but Masami Nagasawa...doesn't really stand a chance being together with these two in the same drama* xD But seriously, MILLIONS OF HANDS DOWN to both Eita and Juri here. This is by far one of the BEST SCENE for this series. And we're getting more soon...from the preview. I mean, i've never seen Eita FRIGGIN CRIED like these before, not in Nodame *since it's a comedy* and Juri...even though i've seen her do crying scenes like a lot, but nothing comes close to this, except there was one in the Nodame Special. yeah, but for LF, this has got to be one her best crying scene ever. Unless we might see more soon haha xD

I just wanna say that I'm REALLY IMPRESSED by Eita and Juri's acting skillz and abilities...beyond those of their age/generation. I hope Eita could at least BAG HIMSELF a BEST ACTOR award for this role. He DESERVES IT!!!!

Oh, i'm still EMO from this scene.
