Yes, i friggin DL the whole thing where NHK followed her around London,Bristol and several places in Europe, like an interview as she's traveling. This was in 2007 though.

This will CALM me DOWN from the utter INTENSE ANTICIPATION for ep 9 of LF...while it's still DL...hopefully by tomorrow night, i'll be able to browse thru, even without the friggin subs..yes, i'm THAT DESPERATE. But meanwhile, let's just feast our eyes on a more...normal Juri-chan...who's living a normal life, and not the dreaded depressed Ruka. * God knows what evil evil Sousuke will do to her in ep10*

Paddington Station, London.

Talking bout some Clock as you can see forward there...there's a saying in London that if you stand under it, you'll meet someone special...

That is one very beautiful DOUBLE RAINBOW... with magnificent landscape.

After staying a night at some historical castle, she moved on to the rural area in Cornwall where she stayed with a local family who has a farm.

PIGS...*BUTA...BUTA*

And HORSE! yes, i'm a sucker for horses...

That family's really lucky to have her in their homestay. That's all i wanna say.

And of course, staying at a farm, means you have to wake up early, before dawn, when it's still dark and WORK...
There's no such thing as FREE HOMESTAY at a farm, unless you're a royalty or etc...

OMG....look at the pigs...

Sending the children off to school...

Like i said, i'm a sucker for horses...

It's no wonder why i miss riding them so much now...and it makes me jealous for some reason.

I went riding like twice when i was little. The BEST one ever was the first time i mounted on a cream-colored horse in Indonesia. Well, it was much peaceful back then.

And like, every morning during my stay there, the guy with the horse would come look for me~~ Yes, he literally called out my name. And well, since i love horses, i rode them like everyday i was there. He'd guide the horse around the hotel, which is really huge and wide. So the 5 bucks per ride was really worth it that time. And there was once, he led the horse to like gallop down this slope of a hill, and i nearly fell off...but it was really FUN and EXHILARATING...it really gets your heart thumping real hard. But i loved it. I miss it, really.

The next day-->work at the farm again, feeding the pigs...shoving hay for the cows..

breakfast
English Bacon...anyone?haha xD

playing with the dogs

then...the cows...
spreading hay for the cows...

Cleaning the hooves of horses...

riding again...
and a farewell gift.
They gave her a Bristol candle...

It's kinda sweet when that kid, the daughter keeps on asking her when she's coming back again...
Then, this Dad is like praising her being a hardworking person, not afraid of getting her hands dirty, feeding cows and pigs...and stuffs...

btw...I've always find it a bit hard to get the words of the English people, well in the movies, they seem to have a much deeper accent which i don't like actually. But i guess it's different in different areas of England. Coz in this part like Cornwall, i find the family's speaking in a more common accent.
Next stop----> Bristol and she's reading a book called " The Great Blue Yonder" which tells of a 10 year-old boy who got involved in a bike accident after getting in a fight with his sister. So he tried to come back to this world to say his final words to her.
in a church
praying hard...she did stay there for quite a while...Then, visiting Alex Shearer-->author of The Great Blue Yonder

This was after she starred in Nodame Cantabile, so he invited her to play a piece...and she played i think (Piano Sonata by Beethoven)---> the one where Chiaki first met her. Ah, nostalgic..

getting her book autographed.
I like the pictures she took...it's somehow you know...it's not DIRECT into your face, there..this is how the sea or field looks like from here. It's more of another way of seeing the view.I like the fact that she also uses a pretty antique camera...probably from her grandpa, as she mentioned earlier.

saying goodbye as they part ways...

Okay, after watching the whole thing which took me around 1 hr 46 mins, i guess this is a 2 hr show anyway. From what i've seen, the way she talks, the way she communicates with people, her thoughts...and opinions on her career life, and trying to live normally, i think she's somehow a much mature person beyond her actual age. Sure, at some parts of the show, she gets excited quite easily on new things like the electric trains which is maybe different than the ones in Japan, and she'd go beaming at them like a little child, on her first trip aboard. Although this is her first trip to England i think...BUT when it comes to one on one talk...she uses a lot of metaphors, like you know in poems...she uses those kinds of examples to explain sth...some of which i can't really understand, some i can after giving it a thought. And she seemed very clear of what she has to do, what she shouldn't do as an actress, well disciplined i'll say.

but most of all, i like the fact that she's a very down-to-earth person. At least from this show, we get insight of her. She worked at the farm, getting her hands dirty with animal shits and stuffs...so yeah. xD
