Episode 2 continues with Akari trying to tell the bastard husband's lawyer about his client's evil acts towards the daughter. But of course she was simply laughed off. Like he's gonna listen.

Meanwhile, Akari got a new case about some leaking in this woman's house.

And this is the climax...well at least for me. I was shocked by this scene really. Anyway, what you see here is Maki (the poor kid) putting Akari's hand between her legs. Apparently, before that Akari had a little argument with her mother downstairs and accidently broke few dishes. and when she came up, this happened. Maki is staying at the moment with Akari since both her parents aren't around.

The argument reminded Maki of the the arguments her parents had before and everytime that happens, the father would come into the room and sexually abused her. That was why she was like telling Akari " it's okay to touch." I was dumbfounded when she actually said that to her. and the kid is really calm. amazing...

akari of course was shocked to find out the truth and she asked her counsel's help. And the only answer he gave her was to use the weapon of law. God knows what that means, since i'm not a law student.
Oh...this caption is just here to show how COOL he looked with those pair of shades...hehe xD

Well, turns out the weapon is for her to step down from being the lawyer and instead become a witness. So she revealed the whole incident to the court.
And of course, this piece of news is enough to force the husband to sign the divorce papers and since he will be under suspicion of the sexual harassment, the mother and child finally were free.

Both of them changed their identity, got themselves new names. apparently there is a Law that can protect someone's identity in circumstances like these.
That was how her first case ended. she became a witness instead. Oh well, she'll have lots of chances to be a real lawyer soon.

my view: So far, this series does keep me going. It doesn't bore me at least. I don't know if that has to do with Aya Ueto being the lead or not, well, maybe a little, okay so maybe that's one of the ONLY reason why i watched this. But hey, at least it's not a bore. But somehow, the ratings seem to be on the low side so far. I don't know why, really. Before this, Attention Please was a success, maybe coz it's comedic and stuffs, then she was in Abarenbo Mama. However, i wasn't into that. It doesn't look interesting to me and the lead male character, shall i say, not very flattering. So, let's leave it to that.

I made my mind to continue watching this, so far CandyPop is subbing this. But i've only got myself till episode 2. I know i'll have to wait till december to finish this since i'm going off in like 3 weeks.
